Holy Crackers

Arislolae an obsessive goddess of doorways takes the form of an older woman. She is very tall and has a wasp-waisted build. She has medium-length black hair. Her slitted eyes are beige. Her outfit is that of a musical symbols and  incorporates door designs, and it is mostly amber in color. She has gray skin. She carries a compass. She can enter or bar entry to anyplace, to anyone.

Nasiel an unbalanced goddess of healing takes the form of a maiden. She is very tall and has a wide-hipped build. Her almond-shaped eyes are beige. She has milk colored skin and white medium length hair. Her outfit is that of a scholar, and it is mostly sky-blue in color. She carries a holy icon. Her hands have stubby fingers.

Nasiel was in her heavenly kitchen making a batch of holy heal the nations crackers, when there was a knock  on her door.  She went to answer the door and saw no one. hunching her shoulders she went back to her kitchen to finish making her crackers. The batter was already done all that was needed was for her to roll out the dough and put them in the cracker press and bake. After putting the crackers in the oven and setting her timer for 100 years. Nasiel decided to take a nap.

Meanwhile.............. Arislolae,  poofed her devilish self into Nasiels kitchen, knowing that Nasiel is known for her ultra super sensitive light sleepiness sound proofed the room. Then she opened the oven door and pulled out the crackers and sprinkled poison the nations powder on them. Giggling in delight over the chaos she caused, poofed herself out of Nasiel's house and returned to her own.

Just then Nasiel awakes to check on the crackers, having a funny feeling she peeks at the crackers and see's nothing wrong. When the crackers are done, Nasiel takes them out to cool down. When the crackers were cool enough she called for her bird Calaxeus the heavenly cracker taster. Calaxeus took a nibble became enraged with such anger he started attacking Nasiel, then suddenly collapsed. Nasiel pulled out her mirror of truth and saw Arislolae put poison on her crackers. Outraged she summoned the holy armada and stormed down to Arislolae's lair to declare a holy trial.

Arislolae was sitting on her throne pretending to be sharpening her nails. Looking surprised when Nasiel burst thru her door with the holy armada, she shrieked " get out you are uninvited". The head Angel of the holy armada ignored Arislolae's childish banter and bound her arms with  impenetrable holy rope and cast her off to the holy court to forecast her fate. Where Arislolae was sentenced to purgatory until the holy war was over and the nations was healed and the trial of the devil and his minions where sentenced to be cast into the lake of fire.

Nasiel made a new batch of heal the nations crackers and Calaxeus was healed in the brook of healing and remained the holy cracker taster.

The End.

I Wish You Enough

Some time ago, I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport.
Staying near the security gate, they hugged, and the mother said, “I love you, and I wish you enough.”
The daughter answered, “Mom, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Mom.”
They kissed, and the daughter left. The mother walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there, I could see she wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on her privacy, but she welcomed me in by asking, “Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?”
Yes, I have,” I replied. “Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever good-bye?”
“I am old, and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead, and the reality is – her next trip back will be for my funeral,” she said.
“When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, ‘I wish you enough.’ May I ask what that means?”
She began to smile. “That’s a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone.” She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail, and she smiled even more. “When we said, ‘I wish you enough,’ we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them.”
